"We unpacked and set up the nightstand in its appointed place today. Not as a nightstand, but in the living room as an end table behind the couch between two “Golden Oak” spare dining room chairs.
My wife, whom I thought would be extremely unhappy with my purchases, surprisingly was very impressed. She was very pleased with the build quality and the “Golden Oak” matches our dining room chairs almost perfectly.
This is in spite of her initial disdain for the compartments, which now she thinks might be good for temporary storage of jewelry, or something? It was the dresser quality that first impressed her. The dresser is in the bedroom. Looks and works great.

Just had an incident were someone knocked on my door. When I didn't answer they knocked again. Not knowing who they are, and it being 9:00pm on Christmas night I decided to get my shot gun. It was quick and easy to get to my gun and I felt relieved to not have to fuss with any kind of locks or combinations.
Although this guy decided to shake my door handle after hearing a half rack...I yelled go away, half racking again and he ran off.
